Mission

CREO is an ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS firm with a commitment to design-forward solutions for the built environment. At the core of our practice is a belief in the power of creativity and passion to pursue it to improve the place people live, work and play. We foster a culture of innovation and self-discipline, freedom and responsibility, and do not discriminate on projects by scale or budget, but rather welcome the challenge to exercise restraint, and design within the given parameters. All design projects are an opportunity to positively influence our surroundings, and at CREO we view it a privilege to help clients seize those opportunities.

Meaning

CREO in Spanish means I BELIEVE, and in Latin it is the root word of CREATE. The name embodies the ethos of the firm, we believe and therefore we create. Without belief there is no will to create, and at CREO we believe that; we can improve the world around us with well researched thoughtful design, and that truly successful design solutions depend on diversity of thought and a multi-disciplinary approach without bias, so that the best ideas prevail.

Our Story

Born from a love of design and a deep connection to our city, our firm was founded in San Antonio with a simple yet ambitious goal—to make the places we live, work, and gather more exciting, more inspiring, and more meaningful. We saw an opportunity to shape our city and beyond, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but enrich the lives of those who experience them.

From the start, we’ve believed in the power of design to transform businesses, communities, and everyday moments. Architecture, to us, isn’t just about buildings—it’s about the people who bring them to life. We draw from our own experiences, our travels, and our passion for art to create spaces that spark joy, foster connection, and stand as testaments to creativity.

Relationships are at the core of everything we do. Whether collaborating with clients, craftsmen, or communities, we know that the best designs emerge from shared vision and trust. That’s why we don’t just design for communities—we engage with them. We draw inspiration from paintings, sculpture, and mixed media, infusing our designs with creativity and depth.

Our maker mindset also strengthens our collaboration with contractors and craftsmen. We speak their language, respect their process, and work closely with them to ensure our designs are both innovative and achievable.
