MAURICE FLORES, LEED GA

PROJECT DESIGNER

Maurice is CREO's Project Designer. His passion for architecture is rooted in his lifelong love of art and design, across a multitude of disciplines. From painting and photography, to woodworking and furniture design, to graphic and web design, even to a well-designed watch, he believes thoughtful design marries time-honored technique with forward-thinking creativity in every detail.

Before joining CREO, Maurice worked with Overland Partners in San Antonio, where he worked on the design and development of a diverse portfolio of projects, including Grande Cheese Company alongside Kris, the Anderson-Clarke Center at Rice University, and several residential projects. Other experience includes higher education with 4240 Architects in Denver, Colorado, and MarmonMok Architects in San Antonio, where he worked as part of their Healthcare Studio on the San Antonio VA hospital, as well as renovations to the Alamodome and early development of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to his career in architecture, he worked in New York City for interactive firm, RowenWarren (now Fly Communications), designing and developing websites and graphics. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Texas San Antonio, studied Design Technology at Parsons School of Design, and received his Masters in Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver.

He's a husband, father, CREO's resident tech geek, Texas music enthusiast, and is always up for hunting down some great barbecue.
