Sam is an Architect at CREO. He is originally from Michigan and made San Antonio his new home in October of 2015. He has been involved in the design and execution of numerous projects throughout the country varying in type and scale from custom single-family homes to professional sport stadiums. Sam has a passion for design and its ability to cultivate stronger and healthier communities. He becomes a student of his clients and is driven by projects that require creative problem solving with attention to detail. He is continually pushing to find ways to facilitate better collaboration and deliver projects more efficiently

Prior to joining CREO, Sam was a designer at ROSSETTI in Detroit, MI focusing primarily on large scale sports and entertainment projects. Among these projects included the renovation of Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL. and projects within the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. After moving to San Antonio, Sam was employed at Luna Middleman Architects where he delivered design and documentation for a variety of commercial projects including master planning, civic centers, sports facilities, hotels, sacred spaces, offices, and commercial retail centers. During his time at both firms Sam has led efforts pertaining to BIM, rapid prototyping, fabrication, and numerous national/international design competitions. Sam relishes opportunities to design and fabricate custom elements for projects including models, signage, furniture, displays, and prototypes.

Sam earned his Masters of Architecture from The University of Detroit Mercy. He is a registered architect in the state of Texas.

In his spare time, Sam has many interests but most consistently enjoys the outdoors, playing music, traveling, and renovating his 1940’s home on the near East Side of San Antonio.
