Leonardo is an architectural designer. He is a native of Mexico and has lived in San Antonio, TX since the age of 13. He completed his first two years of architecture school at San Antonio College, then transferring to the University of Texas at San Antonio where he completed his Bachelors in Architecture. Currently, Leonardo is completing his Masters in Architecture and a professional certificate in Urban and Regional Planning.
Prior to joining CREO, Leonardo worked at Overland Partners where he was fully integrated into project teams working on a variety of commercial and mixed use projects. Other notable experience includes French & Michigan, a local multi disciplinary design-build firm where he worked as a designer, assistant project manager and fabricator. Before that Leonardo worked for several years in the construction industry gaining experience in several trades.
Leonardo's love and passion for architecture has allowed him to also expand his interests and experience in other related disciplines. In his free time he enjoys getting lost in the city to shoot architecture and street photography. He loves sketching, painting, art, and experimenting with different media. Leonardo loves everything design, fueling his drive to also design and build furniture.
When not fully immersed in architecture and design, Leonardo spends time with his wife, family and friends. He likes venturing out to try new food spots and enjoys a fine spirits.
